Hello, I am selling this beautiful Hi-Fi Japanese direct drive turntable DENON DP-55M from my collection. The Denon DP-55M is a direct-drive turntable that was launched in Japan in 1981. Denon turntables from this era were mostly Japan-only, but still have a phenomenal reputation worldwide for their high-quality playback performance, especially the stable rotation speed, high SNR (78dB or better (DIN-B), low motor noise and low wow and flutter. The turntable drive unit uses a direct drive system and the rotary system uses DENON AC servo motors, which boast excellent rotation accuracy. These have even torque and are resistant to vibration. DP-55M has electronic braking. The turntable is manual, but is equipped with an additional lifting device at the LP end of the Japanese brand Audio-technica.
