After pressing the WALK button, the value 9.9 kmh (6.2 mph) will briefly appear on the display, and from that moment you can go at an unlimited speed - 40 kmh, 50 kmh and more than 60 kmh. You can turn off the chip function by pressing the WALK button again. The display shows 2.5 kmh (1.6 mph) and the 25 kmh speed limit is back on. The electric bike then works the same as before the chip was installed. We also thought about electric bicycles that do not have a classic control panel with a Walk button. In this case, just use the + - + - button combination and the SpeedBox will be activated. You can then easily deactivate SpeedBox in the same way. You can set the maximum assistance speed by successively switching modes: Turbo - EMTB - Tour - Eco - Tour - EMTB - Turbo. Then the display shows the current speed limit. You can switch the maximum speed with a short press of the WALK button or by turning the wheel 360°. The display of 1.5 kmh on the display corresponds to the limit of 15 kmh, 2.0 corresponds to the limit of 20 kmh, 2.5 corresponds to 25 kmh, 3.0 corresponds to 30 kmh, 9.9 corresponds to 99 kmh and so on. The last displayed limit is saved after five seconds of inactivity. When using SpeedBox 3.0 with 4th generation Bosch motors (year of manufacture 2020 and above), it is necessary to leave the e-bike switched on after finishing the ride, unless the speed of 0.0 kmh is permanently displayed on the display.
